Welcome to Hakuna Matata Rattery, we are a rattery currently based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. We have strong links to Somerset and Devon, so do travel.
Hakuna Matata Rattery was created by Jenna in 2004 when the first litter of Siamese was born to Alpha Centauri Gemini and Milo Ferret. Hakuna Matata became an official NFRS studname in 2009 thanks to Hakuna Matata Puppis' Best in Show win at NFRS Taunton in 2008. Since then we have had rats bred by us win best in show, as well as rats from our lines. We are very proud of all of our rats.
Hakuna Matata is primarily run by Jenna, however her partner Matt is in charge of the website and does help out with the rats also. Whilst we spend a lot of time with our rats we do have other commitments as well, so may not respond to enquiries straight away. We are happy to welcome visitors to the rattery when we have time to do so. Jenna is currently a member of the NFRS committee.
We are currently breeding for Siamese, Black and Russian Blue. However our about us page has more information about all the varieties we may have from our litters.
