My name is Jenna and I have a small rattery in Cheltenham. My aim is to breed good tempered, healthy rats in Black Russian Blue, Seal point Siamese and Russian Blue point Siamese. Occasionally with litters containing other related colours, dumbo and rex. I am a member of the NFRS, Hakuna Matata is a registered rattery. The name Hakuna Matata came about from the well known Disney film, 'The Lion King', and from the swahili phrase 'Hakuna Matata' meaning No worries.
I was mentored by Estelle Sandford, of Alpha Centauri Stud at the beginning of my breeding plans. Without her, I'd not have gotten this far, and I am very greatful to her for her support throughout mentoring, and still now. There are a lot of people who throughout my breeding experience, that have made a great difference. I will not name names, but they know who they are, who without their support, rats and encouragement, things would have been different!
